Sorry for responding so late.
Dirks page: dirk.meineke.free.fr/
I don't wholly recommend the transcriptions, since I've compared some of them to published music I have and found Dirk's transcriptions wanting. The transcriptions seem to be "by ear" transcriptions, which, naturally, introduces errors.

That's the main problem with a lot of sites that provide freebies. You get what you pay for...

that's true matanya,
BUT I've also paid for versions of standard repertoire pieces that I tought were also 'good' versions, and after a couple of years, I've also discovered errors or contradictions with other printed versions.
So also, you sometimes don't get what you payed for, or at least what you expected.
That's not only a main problem with freebies, but a problem to every score that is printed that is not the URTEXT (even when it says it's the urtext, even then they have mistakes).
I think that just a thing we can't handle, and we should accept that.
I do agree that by giving access to everyone (even the ones that don't take care of the right original copies), that in long terms it's difficult to discover from what's right or wrong. Especially with the internet, because it spreads around very fast and you can't always see where it came from and how many copies were made.
But that was also the problem when the first scores where duplicated using a ordinary bookcopier a few hundred years ago. Only the process is going much faster right now.

Contradictions with other printed versions do not tell you which of the editions being compared is the one with the errors. And unless you have access to the original(s), you never know if what you observe as errors are in fact errors, and not editorial changes and emendations, and if the original(s) itself was not in fact riddled with errors to start with.

Expectations differ.

so, what I ment is: if you don't have access to the original scores (so that counts for most people), you don't know if you're doing the right thing.
I'm only saying: today are also different versions of scores. I don't see the internet as the only bad thing here. I mean, it's offcourse a huge thing to spread around things very fast (even if it has errors in it).
The ideal thing offcourse should be that everyone can access the originals at any time with no costs at all, but that's impossible, so...
I'm only saying: yes, I do believe we should warn people that you shouldn't take for granted what has been written down, and you always should start a small private investigation yourself and inform you about the pieces you play, but the thing is: not everybody has access and rights for doing a good job on this.
let me clear this up: I'm totally for the way of thinking of matanya
